Nuno Sousa Dias received his degree in Dentistry (DDS) in Portugal, 2007. During the same year, he created and registered a Smile’s Analysis named SAEF® - Smile’s Aesthetic Evaluation Form®. With this work, he was awarded with the 1st prize at the 4th Scientific Research International Competition of the Spring Meeting of the EAED in 2010 (UK) and lately published at the EJED (European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry). He completed a full-time Orthodontic Postgraduate Program (MOrth) at Tel Aviv University (Israel), from 2008 to 2012.

Nuno Sousa Dias is a member of several national and international dental and orthodontic scientific organisations.

He cooperates with different dental and orthodontic companies as a Key Opinion Leader, Key Initial User or part of R&D team. Some examples are Hu-Friedy Group (USA), Adenta (Germany) and Moovalign (Israel). He also completed an MBA in Healthcare Innovation at Arison School of Business at IDC Herzliya (Israel), 2018-2019.

As a speaker, he lectured worldwide in more than 20 countries.

Recently he was invited to be section editor for the section “Orthodontics” of IJED (International Journal of Aesthetic Dentistry) Quintessence Publishing Deutschland. Nuno Sousa Dias practices orthodontics at his own private clinic, IDENTIFY (www.identify.pt), in Portugal.
